Brisbane man missing since Christmas Day found

An 82-year-old man missing since Christmas Day has been found in a park close to his Brisbane home after he fell over and could not get up.
The man was missing from his home on Niven Street in Stafford Heights since last Friday but it not known how long he was in the park.
He was found just after 9.30am on Wednesday in a park in Stafford Heights on Brisbane’s northside.
A police spokesman said he had fallen over and was unable to get up.
“He has been transported to hospital for treatment for dehydration,” police said in a statement.
“The media and public are thanked for their assistance.”
