Victorian students get their VCE results after a year of disruption

Thousands of year 12 students across Victoria have received their VCE and VCAL results after a year of study interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Victorian Education Department said 50,284 students will graduate with their VCE, and a record 14,529 students will receive their VCAL.

VCE exams finished at the start of December, two weeks later than they were scheduled to finish prior to the pandemic.

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority said 38 students achieved the top score of 99.95, and the overall average score of about 68…
