The supermarket giant has stopped selling the milk with a January use by date and offered refunds after complaints from customers.
Woolworths supermarket has withdrawn a batch of 2L and 3L cartons of Full Cream Milk from sale.
The popular buy has been pulled from shelves after complaints from customers over the milk having a strong chemical taste.
The affected Woolworths branded fresh milk cartons have a use by date of January 4, 2021.
They have been available for sale at stores in Victoria, the ACT and a small number of stores in NSW.
