Several venues have been placed on alert in the coastal city after a new case was identified.
Several new venues around Wollongong have been added to a list of locations visited by someone who has coronavirus.
One of the new cases of COVID-19 announced on Tuesday was a Wollongong resident who had visited Sydney.
Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant said the source of their infection was still under investigation, and contact tracing was underway.
Later in the afternoon, NSW Health reported several venues the days new cases had attended while potentially infectious.
