Melbourne driver allegedly hit police officers with car before hour-long chase

A woman has been arrested in Seaford in Melbourne’s south this afternoon after police allege she drove her car at two officers, pinning one officer against a wall and running over the ankle of the second officer.

In a statement, Victoria Police said officers were called to a fast-food restaurant on Ballarto Road just before 3:00pm to perform a welfare check on a woman in a car.
