It’s usually the batsmen who cop it out in the middle – but Matthew Wade just turned the tables.
Australian batsman Matthew Wade has delivered a brutal sledge to Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant on day three of the Boxing Day Test.
Wade – who has been a wicketkeeper at Test level and is known for his chat behind the stumps – enjoyed a fierce verbal battle with Pant at the MCG on Monday.

The Australian opener creamed one through the covers in the second session and after admiring his boundary, Wade turned his attention to Pant.
