Melbourne Cup-winning rider booked to ride this season’s Bendigo Cup winner
Melbourne Cup winning rider Jye McNeil won’t know if he is riding in his first Perth Cup this week until Wednesday night with his mount Princess Jenni still to make her way west.
Trainer David Brideoake said on Monday that Princess Jenni was booked on a flight to Perth on Wednesday night but that he won’t know if there is room on the plane for her until a few hours before she is due to depart.
