40km M1 congestion, Bruce Highway 25km delays

“The Bruce Highway northbound delays go for about 26 kilometres from the Pine River Bridge to Caboolture.

“Then it’s okay for a while, but then the delays start again from the Glasshouse Mountains to Beerwah.

“It’s really solid on the Bruce Highway, it’s crawling, you’ll be lucky to hit 20 km/h. On the M1, you are moving, just slowly.”

Ms Kwitowski said the M1 was fine during the Monday morning peak, but traffic started to build up from about 10.30am onwards.
