Brisbane Heat survives stunning BBL collapse and freakish D’Arcy Short catch against Hobart Hurricanes – Wide World of Sports
Absurd effort not enough to lead comeback win
The Brisbane Heat have survived a staggering middle-order collapse to secure a four-wicket win over the Hobart Hurricanes in a pulsating BBL clash.
Set 149 to win by the Hurricanes, Brisbane’s opening pair of Max Bryant and Sam Heazlett put on 73 inside six overs for the first wicket, before a wicked batting collapse.
The collapse was inspired by Hurricanes opening batsman D’Arcy Short, who finished with figures of 3-18 off his four overs, including a stunning caught and bowled effort.
