Today, choice is everywhere. But at the turn of the millennium, if you couldn’t find a game in a local retailer, it basically didn’t exist. If you lived in a rural area, or a game simply wasn’t popular, then there was a time where that game practically didn’t exist. So that’s how abandonware got started – and one of the most important sites for abandonware was Home of the Underdogs.
