Melbourne crashes to embarrassing defeat

A frightening display of six-hitting from young gun Ollie Davies has led the Sydney Thunder to a thumping BBL win over the Melbourne Renegades.
Sent into bat by Renegades skipper Aaron Finch, Davies’ brutal knock of 48 led the Thunder’s efforts as they amassed a first innings total of 8-209 off their 20 overs.
The Renegades never got going in their run chase, losing early wickets before eventually being dismissed for just 80, leading to a 129-run Thunder win.
