One of the most powerful tools in the American presidential toolbox is the ability to pardon people from federal crimes.
And despite using it the least of any modern president, the US media is reporting that Donald Trump is beginning to make up for lost time, pardoning 15 people including disgraced congressmen and former aides yesterday.
The US media has reported that was just the the beginning of a flurry of pardons Trump is expect to make before he exits the White House.
With 28 days left until Trump loses a power once ruled as “unlimited” by the US Supreme Court, here’s a list of people who could get a pardon next, or have their sentence commuted, before the President leaves office.
