Man attacked with a machete in Brisbane’s south-east

A man who was attacked with a machete in Brisbane’s south-east has been rushed to hospital, suffering injuries to his lower right leg and foot.
Police were called at 1.45am on Christmas morning to Canning Street at Holland Park after a 26-year-old allegedly forced his way into the property and assaulted a 24-year-old man.
The men were known to each other.
The injured man was taken to Princess Alexandra where he is expected to undergo surgery.
Police then left the scene after no official complaint was made.
