A man has died following a single vehicle traffic crash near Charters Towers yesterday afternoon.
Preliminary investigations indicate around 5.30pm a Toyota utility was travelling eastbound on Mafeking Road when it has left the roadway, mounted an embankment and overturned.
The driver and sole occupant, a 21-year-old Charters Towers man, died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
