Teen critically injured in hit-and-run

Police say the incident occurred at an intersection in the suburb of Norman Gardens about 1am.A white ute travelling along Yaamba Rd hit the male pedestrian at the intersection with Moores Creek Rd. The ute left the scene, leaving the 18-year-old seriously injured on the road. Members of the public provided first aid before emergency services arrived.
