It confirms the story broken by News Limited on Tuesday that Freedman was leaving Singapore after a three-year-stint and would call the Sunshine State home in a new training venture.
Freedman, 64, had been negotiating with the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast Turf Clubs and the Gold Coast emerged as the winner on Thursday.
