Woman on super yacht that arrived in Cairns one of two people in Queensland with COVID-19, yacht crew ‘not cooperating’

A woman who arrived in Cairns on a super yacht is one of two people who have tested positive to COVID-19 in Queensland in the past 24 hours, Health Minister Yvette D’Ath says.
The infected crew member is now recovering in hospital and the remaining ship’s crew have been placed in quarantine.
Ms D’Ath said the second case was a man who had visited Sydney’s northern beaches on December 12.
He initially tested negative to COVID-19 upon his return to Queensland, but began to feel unwell and later tested positive.
