Violence erupts on Gold Coast on Christmas Eve

The Queensland Ambulance Service said two people were taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions following an alleged assault on The Esplanade at Surfers Paradise just after midnight.And a man was taken to hospital with head and hand injuries after an alleged wounding on Marine Pde at Labrador just after 10pm Wednesday.Police are investigating both incidents.
