A man has died after being hit by car on Bribie Island Road at Ningi last night (December 23).
Preliminary investigations indicate around 10pm the 27-year-old Caboolture man was lying on the roadway when he was struck by a passing vehicle.
The man suffered significant injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The 28-year-old female driver of the vehicle was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
