Some Sydneysiders have been left confused after being ordered to pay for their coronavirus test results.
But the whole thing is a scam to extort money out of scared and unsuspecting victims.
NSW Health, which oversees the states coronavirus response, issued a warning against the scam on Wednesday.
It said some people had been receiving text messages purporting to be from the health body.
