Cops told not to pursue wanted teen
The internal email, sent on December 18 to staff at a Brisbane police station, stated aboriginal elders from the area had informed police that the 15-year-old boy “has a leg fracture which he is constantly reinjuring when he runs from police”.“For (the child’s) wellbeing, it is requested that any action against him cease until the 8th of January 2021,” the email states.“I have removed three (wanted for questioning) flags from him and added a caution to not take action.”
