Parents grieve for daughter hit by car

The heartbroken parents of a three-year-old girl hit by a car on the Gold Coast on Sunday have paid tribute to their “red headed unicorn” after she lost her days-long fight for life.
Luna Matenga had been in Gold Coast University Hospital since Sunday after being struck by the car in Ormeau. Her mother, Jessica Feeney, shared news of her daughter’s passing on social media as she thanked the community for its support.
