Fifth state service employee stood down in Tasmania, allegations relating to two people referred to police

Tasmania Police will assess two further allegations of a sexual nature — one of sexual misconduct against a state service employee and one of sexual abuse against a former employee — the State Government says.

A government spokesman said the current employee, from the state’s north, had been stood down pending an investigation into an allegation of sexual misconduct, which has also been referred to police.
