Townsville domestic violence ‘murder-suicide’ victim identified as mum-of-three Rebecca Walker

A Queensland woman who was found dead in her home by her five-year-old son has been identified as a mother-of-three.

Forty-six-year-old Rebecca Walker’s body was found alongside the body of the boy’s father, a 48-year-old man, in her Townsville home on Tuesday morning.

Her five-year-old son made the grim discovery after waking up.

The child walked for hundreds of metres, up and down the road, calling for help before police were called.
