Bradman’s Baggy Green sells for record price | cricket.com.au – cricket.com.au
Sir Donald Bradman’s first Baggy Green Australian cap has sold for $450,000, to the buyer who also paid a world-record price for a guitar of Kurt Cobain

Australian businessman Peter Freedman has purchased Sir Donald Bradman’s first Baggy Green cap for $450,000, the second-highest price ever paid for a piece of cricket memorabilia.
Freedman, the founder of Rode Microphones who earlier this year paid $9 million to win an auction for a guitar used by Kurt Cobain, plans to tour Bradman’s Test debut cap around Australia.
The price for Bradman’s 1928 Australia cap sits behind the $1,007,500 paid at auction for Shane Warne’s Test cap earlier this year…
