Throughout 2020, Australia’s elected leaders have spent hours and hours addressing televised press conferences, all to update the country and its states and territories about the status of COVID-19 on our shores. But, despite all that time spent and all those words uttered by all those folks, there’s one phrase that every Australian will always remember as peak 2020: “get on the beers”.
