Pilot netted in alleged drug sting flies light plane home to North Qld

A police spokesman confirmed the man had now returned to Townsville in the plane after being granted bail last week.
“Detectives were aware he would return for the aircraft to take it home, and he has not breached any bail conditions or restraints,” the spokesman said.
“Police are still seeking to have the aircraft taken off the man, and there is no timeframe on when this could occur.”
