Tiny Jazmine heads home in time for Christmas

Jazmine could have arrived at any moment last month after Ms Zaborska was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia – a potentially dangerous pregnancy complication involving high blood pressure.

Throughout the tough pregnancy, Ms Zaborska said her little one held on until 31 weeks.

“She was born on the 11th of November and we have been in and out of hospital since then, spending five hours here at least every day,” she said.

“I wouldn’t miss a day with her.

“Up until recently, she was attached to a dozen different tubes and censors. It was so tough.”

Originally expecting to bring Jazmine home close to New Year’s, the hospital gave the all-clear for the newborn to leave in time for Christmas.
