New COVID border rules for NSW travellers to Queensland announced
NSW residents travelling to Queensland from Sunday will need to apply for a border pass after a coronavirus outbreak on Sydney’s Northern Beaches expanded.
At least 41 cases have been linked to the outbreak as the Northern Beaches has been ordered back into lockdown.
Anyone travelling from the Northern Beaches into Queensland will need an exemption and if an exemption is granted, those people will go into hotel quarantine.
