The ABF works closely with our Pacific Island partners to share information and technology to keep our borders secure and communities safe.
Over the past five weeks, the ABF has delivered training to more than 60 participants from 16 Pacific Island countries supporting the roll out of the Pacific Small Craft Application. Developed by Home Affairs, the application will improve the way information on small craft movements is recorded and shared across the Pacific region, and assist Pacific border agencies to address COVID-19 risks from small craft by tracking vessels through quarantine processes. This technology will help promote safe tourism across the region and strengthen mutual border security partnerships.
