‘Brace yourselves’: Premier’s grim warning as NSW awaits ‘considerable amount’ of new cases

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has told Sydneysiders to brace themselves as authorities expect a “considerable amount” of COVID-19 cases today.

Berejiklian made the comments this morning following the confirmation of 17 COVID-19 cases in the Northern Beaches cluster yesterday.
“I must ask the community to brace themselves for a number of cases that will emerge,” Ms Berejiklian said.
Ms Berejiklian has confirmed the original source of the Northern Beaches cluster came from overseas.
