‘We’ve sort of broken bread’: Pies star Taylor Adams explains conversation with traded Adam Treloar – Fox Sports
Collingwood best and fairest winner Taylor Adams has “broken bread” with former teammate Adam Treloar after his now-infamous trade to the Western Bulldogs.
Treloar was offloaded to the Dogs in the dying seconds of this years trade period, which followed a report suggesting Pies coach Nathan Buckley had told the 27-year-old during a phone call that some senior teammates wanted him gone.
Although Treloar himself said that was relayed to him by Buckley, Adams said the media had misrepresented how senior players felt.
