QLD government announces some restrictions, hints at border closure in response to surging Sydney COVID cluster

Annastacia Palaszczuk has hinted at another partial closure of the Queensland border as a COVID-19 cluster in Sydney surges.
“Queenslanders who have travel plans to visit greater Sydney, in particular the Northern Beaches region, should consider the risk of those areas becoming a hotspot,” the premier tweeted on Thursday.
Palaszczuk has also announced from midday on Friday, anyone who has been in Sydney’s Northern Beaches since December 11 cannot go into Queensland aged care centres,…
