QLD government announces some restrictions, hints at border closure in response to surging Sydney COVID cluster

Annastacia Palaszczuk has hinted at another partial closure of the Queensland border as a COVID-19 cluster in Sydney surges.
“Queenslanders who have travel plans to visit greater Sydney, in particular the Northern Beaches region, should consider the risk of those areas becoming a hotspot,” the premier tweeted on Thursday.
