Brisbane school principal and teacher wife face fraud charges

A school principal who allegedly misused a corporate credit card and dishonestly obtained money relating to school activities has appeared in a Brisbane court.
John Leonard Webster is facing a raft of fraud charges, while his wife Suzette Maree Webster, a teacher, is also charged.
The couple appeared separately in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
John Webster was first charged in September by the state’s corruption watchdog with 34 counts of fraud and one of misconduct in relation to public office.
