On Tuesday night, councillors unanimously agreed that alcohol should not be temporarily banned to act as a “circuit breaker” to stop crowds.
Instead, council will establish an Edinburgh Gardens working group, launch a campaign encouraging respect for neighbours and amenities, and consider adding more bins, toilets and cleaning.
The working group will include park users, local residents and a representative from Fitzroy North Primary School.
