Federal government offers help to bushfire-damaged Fraser Island

Ms Ley was also questioned in Brisbane about the status of the vulnerable bushfire-affected koala, after announcing a national koala count and additional mapping for koalas last month.
She said she would receive the long-overdue national koala recovery plan in February after asking that research be fast-tracked.
