Four massage parlours hit with unlawful prostitution charges

A 40-year-old Upper Mount Gravatt woman was charged with advertising prostitution following the search of the Thornlands premises, located a short distance away from a school.
A 50-year-old Calamvale woman and a 35-year-old woman were charged with knowingly participating in prostitution offences during the search of the Old Cleveland Road premises.
A 31-year-old Manly West man was charged, during the search of the same premises, with being in places reasonably suspected of being used for prostitution.
A 47-year-old Sunnybank woman was given a notice to appear for advertising prostitution at a separate premises on Old Cleveland Road.
They will appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court on January 19.
