The New TV Version of Stephen King’s ‘The Stand’ Will Start Streaming Down Under in January – Concrete Playground
By this point in 2020, the year has served up all manner of challenges and surprises. But in one area at least, it’s rolling on as planned. Because the world can’t last too long without delivering multiple new film and/or television adaptations of Stephen King’s work, viewers are about to score another one — a new miniseries version of the author’s 1978 novel The Stand.
Hitting Amazon Prime Video in Australia and New Zealand from Friday, January15 — after debuting in America in December — The Stand joins HBO’s The Outsider as the two new TV shows bringing King’s work to our eyeballs over the past 12 months.
