Humidity to hit south-east Queensland as rain eases

While the worst of the severe weather has come and gone, south-east Queensland faces uncomfortably humid conditions for the rest of the week due to the “double whammy” of a north-east airflow.
Key points:
- A low-pressure system off the coast means sticky days and nights for much of the south-east
- Brisbane and the south-east can expect showers bringing between 5mm and 15mm every day for the rest of the week
- Drought-affected inland areas are not forecast to receive significant rainfall
