A source familiar with the issue said the pair had breached the BBL’s biosecurity protocols by taking taxis to and from a licensed venue and coming into physical contact with a person outside the league’s hub. Players are permitted to attend restaurants and cafes but must dine and drink outdoors and remain in their own group.
Lynn and Lawrence were charged under CA’s code of conduct unde section 2.23 which relates to conduct that “is or could be harmful to the interests of cricket”.
