BREAKING: Young gun Cameron Green set for Test debut as opener solution firms – Fox Sports
West Australian prodigy Cameron Green will become Australia’s 459th Test cricketer on Thursday if he passes concussion protocols.
National coach Justin Langer confirmed the news on Tuesday morning declaring the all-rounder is a certainty to be selected, provided he gains medical approval.
Green, who has been in stellar batting form this season and made a hundred against the Indians for Australia A last week, would also offer contributions with the ball and slot into number six.
