A Six-Screen Reading Cinema With Reclining Seats in Every Theatre Is Opening in Brisbane’s West – Concrete Playground

When it comes to new places to watch films on the big screen, the past few years have been kind to Brisbane movie buffs. The city has welcomed cinemas in New Farm, Elizabeth Street in the CBD, Red Hill, Coorparoo and Newmarket — and now, to the delight of western suburbs residents, it’s Jindalee’s turn.
If you don’t live on that side of town or you haven’t in the past, you mightn’t realise how much of a big deal this opening is. For decades, film lovers in the area have needed to trek to either Indooroopilly or Graceville to get their movie fix — which isn’t too far, but it also isn’t the same as having a cinema just a stone’s throw away.
Cinema chain Readings is running the venue, which forms part of the revamped DFO Jindalee…
