In one of many bizarre scenes amid wild east coast weather on Monday, 7NEWS Queensland weatherman Paul Burt was a minute from going on air in front of a wall of brown foam, when the frantic cry of a dog owner rang out.
“Hazel! Hazel!” said the woman at the Gold Coast’s Snapper Rocks, prompting Burt to join her in the foam to search.
