Pulling together to prevent 3.6 kilograms of methamphetamine hitting the streets.
Last month, our staff at the Melbourne Gateway Facility intercepted a consignment containing a crystalline substance secreted
The substance was identified as methamphetamine and the South Australia Joint Agency Ice Strike Team (comprising of both South Australia Police and Australian Federal Police) joined forces with SA Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Branch to seize the methamphetamine and arrest a 26-year-old man.
Police will allege the 3.6 kilograms of methamphetamine has a street value of approximately $1.8 million.
