A masterful batting display by Josh Philippe backed up a dominant team bowling effort has seen the Sydney Sixers to a record-breaking 145-run win over the Melbourne Renegades.

Opener Philippe fell just short of a century, belting 95 off 57, and was helped out by Jordan Silk’s unbeaten 45 off 19 as the Sixers scored a whopping 4-205 at Bellerive Oval.
