‘All good enough to pass Lillee’: Australian pace trio’s claim to greatness – Sydney Morning Herald
For close to two decades, Dennis Lillee’s 355 Test wickets was insurmountable. Former greats think three of the current pace attack could pass the mark.

“They’re all good enough to pass DK Lillee, there’s no doubt about that,” former Test great Craig McDermott says. “That’s quite possible, it just depends on their bodies.”
This is a caveat McDermott appreciates better than most. The Queensland quick was 30 when he entered the 290s with Lillee’s mark more than just a speck on the horizon but his knees “ran out of steam”, he says. He didn’t get to 300.
