Greysful Glamour might be the sports sweetheart but her kind nature masks a killer instinct on the racetrack.
This was how trainer Mark Newnham described Greysful Glamour after her typically brave win in the Group 2 $250,000 Villiers Stakes (1600m) at Royal Randwick on Saturday.
“She is the sweetest horse in the stable, anyone can ride her, take her for a walk or swim her,’’ Newnham said. “But take her out there (racetrack) and she gets a bit of killer in her.’’
