The Centauri constellation contains the closest star to the Sun. It is 4.2 light years from Earth and cannot be seen with the naked eye. If we sent a probe it would take more than 20,000 years to get there. In the constellation is the star Proxima Centauri with an orbiting planet Proxima Centauri b.
