Tradie charged over excavator drug bust
Tony Maaz, of Bankstown, was arrested on Wednesday morning after border officials intercepted the heavy duty haul when it landed on Australian shores from the UK earlier this year.Police will allege Mr Maaz, 33, and another Sydney man, Raymond Lipovac, 42, shipped the excavator over from Southampton in England, knowing the drugs worth an estimated $79 million were inside.
