Man shot by police in buttocks allegedly attempted to carjack Brisbane driver

A man has been tasered and shot in the buttocks by police during an alleged carjacking in Brisbane’s west.
The man is expected to make a full recovery, while a police officer was also injured in the incident in Durack just after midday on Friday.
Police say the 28-year-old man was one of two occupants of a suspected stolen red Hyundai, which was spotted by officers at the intersection of Blunder Road and Inala Avenue.
